Honesty Cookery School ,
Romilla Arber has been baking bread for many years and is passionate about real bread made traditionally.
Romilla firmly believes that good-quality bread doesn’t make you fat! You too can fall in love with the art of bread making and learn how to make exquisite artisan loaves in your own kitchen.
On this course you will make a variety of breads (there will be plenty to take home) and enjoy a simple lunch with a glass of wine. Industrialised, mass produced bread is the perfect example of how our food culture has broken down. It is made with only profit in mind not what is best for the health of the customer.
Romilla is the author or two cookery books and she won the prestigious Gourmand Best UK Cookbook award for her second book. She is a passionate advocate of eating a balance diet and in 2008 founded the Food Education Trust with the aim of working with schools to promote the benefits of home-cooked food.
Romilla is the founder and owner of Honesty Group which includes the Crown & Garter at Inkpen and the Honesty Coffee Shops.
Maximum number 8. All level of abilities welcome.
