Ozlem returns with another of her courses melding historical inspired recipes with modern tastes. The Ottoman Empire reigned for around 700 years, it was a melting pot of cultures and cuisines. Offering inspiration to the world, it was known for its vibrancy, and openness to innovation as reflected in Ozlem’s recipes.
The menu will include:
- Tutmac – a nutritious, heritage soup made with green lentil, orzo, chickpeas and yoghurt.
- Hunkar Begendi – a spiced lamb stew on a bed of smoked aubergine puree, fried bread and yoghurt sauce
- Ic Pilav – a spiced almond and cinnamon pilaf
- Kadayif Tatlisi – crispy kadaifi noodles stuffed with walnuts and soaked in syrup, served with clotted cream and pistachio
8 people maximum. All abilities welcome.
