Peculiar pickles, curious cures, fabulous ferments & creative condiments!

Eating seasonally is more than simply using the very best fresh produce available at the time. Seasonal eating is taking everything that season has to offer and letting nothing go to waste, stretching out the enjoyment for the following months.
This class takes inspiration from the seasons best produce to make some slightly unusual preserves. It will be led by chef, Robin Popham, who takes much of his inspiration from heritage crafts and using seasonal produce.

On the day learn to make:
Beetroot & Damson Ketchup
Fermented fennel
Carrot & Celeriac Kraut
Blackberry Pastilles

Enjoy a lunch of Allotment vegetable confit eaten tapas style warm with some warm bread from our bakery and fruit vinegar.
Make sure to start collecting jars and small bottles ready to take home your creative condiments.
