Honesty Cookery School ,
Chris returns to the cookery school with a purely Thai cookery course. The devil is in the detail with Thai food and Chris will teach you some tips and tricks to preparing, shopping and cooking Thai food.
There will be some demonstration on this course but for the most part you will be getting your hands dirty.
Learn to cook:
- Som Tam Malako – Shredded green papaya salad, which is fresh crunchy, sweet spice salty and sour all at the same time! Chris will teach you how to tailor the salad to your own taste without losing the essence of the salad.
- Gaeng Hang Lay Moo Curry – Pork Belly Red curry from North Thailand with no coconut milk. Chris will demonstrate the red curry paste from scratch, using ingredients and techniques to help you achieve authentic Thai flavours.
- Pad Kra Pao – simple yet packed with flavour, served with steamed rice and a crispy fried egg.
Chris will talk you through the best ingredients, where to get them locally and how to combine the flavours to make these delicious dishes that will make your taste buds zing and impress your friends!
All levels of ability welcome. Max class size 8 people.
