Honesty Group is a food business who care about their food, where it comes from, what is in it and how it is produced. Founded by Romilla Arber in 2014, the business has since grown and is encouraging people everyday to care more about the food they consume.
Honesty cafes can be found in various locations in Hampshire and Berkshire. They are all a little different, reflecting the communities in which they sit. The common thread that connects them is food and drink of good quality, served in a congenial atmosphere by staff who care.
This is where all the ‘behind the scenes’ action takes place. Where our bakers bake, our cakers cake and our chefs create all of our food produce using wherever possible local, good quality ingredients, using no funny stuff, like preservatives, additives and flavour enhancers.
Whether you are interested in cooking, flower arranging, painting or craft this is the place for you. Set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside with stimulating views this beautiful green oak barn is somewhere to get creative. There is an array of courses to satisfy most tastes, taught by inspiring tutors at affordable prices. It is also available for private hire.
The Crown and Garter pub situated in Inkpen village, also has a hotel, restaurant and coffee shop. The Hartley Arms in Donnington Village is a pub, restaurant with a little coffee shop tucked away in the courtyard to the rear. Both destinations serve food made from scratch, using local ingredients. The menus change regularly to reflect the seasons.
Saddleback Farm Shop is situated just outside Wantage in the village of Brightwalton. It has a lovely tearoom, serving fresh food daily, a deli counter with a wide range of cheese and local produce, with pies and pasties made by our chefs. The butchery counter stocks rare breed, grass fed beef and rare breed lamb and pork from small holdings in England. The shop offers many interesting food and gift items, sourced from small, independent producers.
