Real Food. Real Values.
Honesty is an independently owned growing family of eleven coffee shops, a bakery, two pubs and a cookery school across Berkshire and Hampshire.
‘We’re not here to blend in, we’re here to belong. Our spaces are purposefully different - a home away from home. Bring your dog, bring your gran, bring the book club. Everyone's welcome.’
Romilla
With a no fluff, no fakery approach. You’ll find no hidden nasties, no additives, no corporate spiel. Just good coffee, good food and good people.

Our roots
Founded in 2014 by Romilla Arber, a home cook turned food activist, who believed in one thing:
Food should be made with care, not chemicals. Raised in a household where baking bread was the norm, Romilla has never bought into the convenience food culture. When she moved to rural Hampshire and couldn’t find a decent loaf, she decided to do something about it. So she bought a run-down pub, added a bakery and started baking real bread for the local community., and that’s where it all began...

Why Honesty?
Because we don’t hide behind fine print or flashy packaging. We believe food businesses should be transparent, ethical and real.
You should know where your food comes from and feel good about eating it.
-
What We Stand For
Honesty is a food business who care about their food, where it comes from, what’s in it and how it's made.
As the business grows our ethos has always been to encourage people to care more about the food they consume.
