New Cups, Same Great Coffee
Romilla ArberWe're switching to new paper cups and lids from GreenRock Group across our coffee shops, and we're pretty pleased about it. They're home compostable, recyclable, and completely plastic-free.
This aligns nicely with sustainability being one of our core values at Honesty. We've been looking for the right supplier for a while, and GreenRock ticked all the boxes. The cups and lids are also PFAS-free and carbon balanced. If you're not familiar with PFAS, they're chemicals often used in food packaging that aren't great for the environment (or us). So it's good to avoid them.
From your perspective, nothing changes. Your coffee stays hot, the cup doesn't leak, and the lid does exactly what a lid should do. The difference is what happens to them afterwards-these ones break down properly instead of sticking around for decades. It's one of those changes that feels like common sense once you learn it's possible. Better for the planet, no compromise on quality.
Pop in for your usual soon, and you'll see the new cups and lids in action.
