It’s official! Chicken is the most popular meat in the UK and for good reason. It’s economical, versatile and tasty. However it is much more cost effective to buy a whole chicken and break it down rather than buying more expensive pre-prepared cuts. In this hands-on class you will learn how to handle a whole chicken and join it following the natural lines of the bird. From this point we will focus on multiple ways to cook each part of the chicken through a variety of delicious recipes.
You will learn:
- White and brown chicken stock
- Crispy chicken skin
- Thai style chicken kiev
- Chicken Milanese
- Bang bang chicken thigh salad
- Buttermilk chicken drumsticks
- Tamarind chilli caramel wings
After the class you will sit down and enjoy fruits of your labour with a tasty glass of wine.
