Venetian Cicchetti - Italian Style Tapas

Cicchetti are Venice’s answer to tapas; small, flavourful bites served in bàcari (local wine bars) across the city. These traditional snacks range from marinated seafood and crostini topped with creamy baccalà mantecato to tiny meatballs, grilled vegetables, and cured meats. Enjoyed with a glass of wine (ombra), cicchetti offer a delicious, informal way to experience the rich culinary culture of the Venetian lagoon.
Together you will prepare a selection of the following dishes
- Zucca in Saor (delicious sweet and sour butternut squash salad, topped with seeds and fresh herbs)
- Baccala' Mantecato : creamy whipped salt cod on grilled polenta squares or crostini - gluten free
- Polpettine: fried meatballs with thyme and lemon zest
- …and the best Tiramisu!
For lunch you will enjoy fruits of your labour, impeccably paired with a glass of fine wine.
